Antibiotics free at Martin's

Martin's Super Markets pharmacies are now offering eight generic antibiotics free with a doctor's prescription.

The drugs are amoxicillin; cephalexin; sulfamethoxazole/ trimethoprim (SMZ/TMP); ciprofloxacin; penicillin VK; ampicillin; doxycycline; and erythromycin (excluding Ery-Tab). Customers may receive up to a 21-day supply.

To qualify for the program, patients should bring a current doctor's generic prescription to any Martin's pharmacy. Patients must also have a valid Martin's Advantage Card, which can be obtained at no charge at the pharmacy counter or at any Martin's customer service desk.

There is no limit on the number of prescriptions a customer may fill. Insured and uninsured patients may take advantage of this program.
